PORTLAND MAN PLEASED WITH COOS BAY COUNTRY Prominent Business Man Grows En thusiastic Over Country's Pros pects, Climate nnd Scenery. C. A. Warren, general manager of The Warren Publicity Company, one of the leading advertising agencies of Portland, concluded a few days visit on Coos Bay this morning and loft on n brief business trip to the Coqullle Valley towns. Mr. Warren expressed himself as greatly surprised at the extent of the varied resources of Coos Bay. "I had heard considerable of Coos Bay before coming here," Mr. Warren remarked to a Times' reporter, "but someway the idea prevails in Port land that tho place is being over- boomed. I was agreeably suprlsed to find just the opposite Is truo. Why, if some of tho inland towns had one quarter your advantages they would bp making tho country ring with tholr praises. It Is such a beauty spot, too. I was quite unprepared for such splendid scenery and tho cli mate Is quite ideal so different from tho hot, sweltering, weather that I left behind In Portland. I made a trip up South Coos River yesterday in n launch with Mr. nnd Mrs. Stuts man and Mr. A. H. Powers and no where on Uie coast Is there anything that equals It. When you get a rail road, Coos Bay will become one of the most popular summer resorts on tho Pacific coast. You may say for me that when I return to Portland I will be a genuine Coos Bay booster."
