One delighted in delineating beauty in all its graces of tint, form, and motion. Hu portraits were instinct with the charm of physics vigor. The graceful, half-volnniptuona outline of form and feat nre harmonized with delicately blooded tints. On his canvas the homeliest faces bad an almost irresistible charm.
