Henry Lackeinger, one of the prosper ous lariuerd iu the vicinity of Scottsburg, 1 was vieititig iu Gardiner Monday. The Scotteburg hotel has been newly paiLtttd, and presents a very clean and appearance. Landlord Majory thoroughly nuderstands the hostelry t unices, aud always keeps his table supplied with tbe best tbe market affords. Tbe Gardiner Mills are now running right along without a hitch. This L) certainly one of the best equip ped and thoroughly up-to-date mills on the coast, and tbe company employ only first class men to take charge of their machinery. The Gardiner school is . progressing nicely, witb Mies MAiimilla Nichols as principal, and Miss Eunice Stewart, as Mat ant.
