Tbe basket ball teams commenced their
practice last Saturday in Slocum's ball.
They have much lamenesi and many
bruises alter their first tiial, yet their
ardor is not dampened.
The foot ball team is also practicing
every day as they will play Oakland on
Saturday Nov. 23, the Eugene high
Kcbool on Thanksgiving day Nov. 23
and also have received challenges from
Cottage Grove and Ashland which have
not yet been decided upon. This makes
quite a good schedule of games and we
hope in tbe near future to have a gocd
match game in Roaebarg.
