Anton Hermens, of Verboort, was a tii) rioikui laiuiua, ROBT.MULLOY Robert Mulloy, formerly of Lau rel, died from an attack of pneu monia at his home at Freewater, Ore., on Dec. 14, 1916. He was horn in Iowa, March 23, 1856. With his parents he came to Oregon in 1871. In 1876 he was married to Florence Cahill, of this county. To them six chil dren were born. Besides his widow the following children survive: Eli, of Lexington, Or.; Mrs. Alice Wold, of St. Paul, Minn.; Peter, of Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Bertha Wilks, of Monu ment, Ore. Two brothers, A.
