He was absent from the store quite a while, and finally thought it about tune to return and take charge of his money, as some one might acci dentally pick out the particular suit. The unexpected had hap pened. While out. Walker, sec ond baseman for the Cardinals, tried on the suit, thought it look ed all right, bargained for it. and. suddenly runnintr his h:ni into the pocket, brought out the wallet, saving. When his wife, Vida M., sued him for divorce, she asked iit and received an order enjoining Wilson from annoying or inter fering with her in anv manner. She swears that on July 1, Wil son followed her for several blocks, and finally assaulted Jesse Conway, a cousin with whom she was walking; and that further, on July 4, while she was walking with George Kingle, he followed her, and when she kick ed at him, said " , I'll give you what you've been looking for," and threaten ed to strike her. A warrant was issued, and C. E. Koontz and F. W. Phillins went on the homl The restraining order was made at tne time the divorce case was filed, and the records show that a copy of the injunction was served upon the husband. Judge Campbell will not be here for several days. Tunstall, is in possession ot the Tunstall fam ily, and it still shoots as accurate ly as it did when it killed deer and antelope coming across the plains. It is said to have "down ed" it's buffalo, as well, and probably has killed more beeves than any other cap and ball gun ever in Oregon. In 1873 it was turned over to the Tunstall fam ily, of Phillips, and has been do ing veteran service ever since. Whether or not it was an old firearm when it was brought to Sauvies Island by Cline, back in the 40's, is not known as there is no date on the weapon. The Oregon Jersey Cattle Club will meet at the Washington Hotel for a luncheon, at nnnn Saturday, July 15. Some inter esting papers will be read, rela tive to breeding, Oregon Jersey history, etc.. and after thp rps- sion the assembly will visit the nerd ot r.
