tation following an automobile acci
dent. Dr. Orlando F. Scott of Chicago
removed square Inches of flesh from
his thigh and transferred It to his
wife's leg. in which skin poisoning
had . developed. He used his own
flesh because he did not wish a

Mayor Thompson of Chicago sur
prised a lot of Elks during their
convention there by appearing at the
wild west games staged by cowboys
from all over the country attired in
chaps and astride a lively steed.
Fact is the mayor used to be a
cowboy.
