Wash., Jan. 5 (Spe cial.) The first payment of the Clarke County bonds for the Columbia River interstate bridge was mailed to W. W Sherman, State Treasurer, today by L. G. Conant, County Treasurer. The check included I50.0M to retire that amount of bonds and $1375. Interest due January s. Since the bonds were voted Clarke County has paid, 118,750 in interest.
