Will De scribe Ureal Celestial Awakening. The fact that all eyes just now are be ing turned to the Orient has induced Religious director Clark, of the Y. M. C. A... to obtain F. W. Bible as the speaker Rt the men's bigr meeting today at 3 P. M. Mr. Bible holds that China is the country of tomorrow and that even now In the uttermost parts of the interior the Chinaman is proving that, given the ini tiative, he can make his influence felt in the commercial world. Where ,the Japanese is a copyist, de clares Mr. Bible, the Chinaman is orig inal. Brave, fearless of death and hav ing a high sense of commercial morality, when once he enters the business arena In real earnest he will not be content with any place short of the top. Mr. Bible is a trained young American who has already spent eight years In China for the Presbyterian Church and Is now returning to his work after a brief furlough. Having been located at Hang, chow, one of the treaty ports, be has had ample opportunity to judge the Chinaman in his so-called simplicity and a he is when brought into combination with the commerce of the Western world. As a diplomat, rio less than a missionary, Mr. Bible will deserve a large audience. Owing to the interest in the awakening of China. immediately following the speaker the meeting will be thrown open for discussion and all present invited to express views. Preceding the. speaker the children's choir and C. H. Gray, from the First Christian Church, will render a musical programme. NEW TIME CARD.
