At a well-attended meeting of the Wood stock Push Club last night it was decided to work for better streets and the open ing of new ones in that part of the city. It was especially decided to try to get a street opened from Woodstock through Ivanhoe to Hawthorne avenue, and Pro fessor E. J. 8teele was appointed chair man of a committee to work toward that end. A committee, with C. Ben Riesland chairman, was appointed to work for the betterment of the present streets and the Improvement of sidewalks. A move ment was also started to get out a book let to advertise Woodstock. It will be issued through the agency of a local real ty firm, and will contain many illustra tions of the Woodstock district. Funeral of Joseph E. Haslett. Fu neral services over the remains of Joseph E. Haslett. who died at Echo Thursday, were held In the chapel of Holman's un dertaking establishment yesterday. The sermon was delivered by Rev.
