Two dozen officers and bomb-sniffing dogs were used in a search, but nothing suspicious was found. Classes were canceled for the day and evening as a pre- caution. A man living at the apartment is accused of starting the fire. The student reported the man physically as- saulting her and saying he had a gun around 7 p.m. Students were asked to shelter in place during the search. Rose Fest Parade Moves After more than 100 years, the Rose Festival announced Friday that it will move the downtown routes for the Rose Festival’s Star- light and Grand Floral parades off 10th Avenue next year to accom- modate the operation of the Port- land Streetcar. The decision was made under the direction of city transportation officials and City Commissioner Steve Novick.
