Brown and Dancers, on Thursday, Dec. 6 through Saturday, Dec. 8 at Lincoln Hall, Portland State University. Honoring Lost Loved Ones Ornaments to adorn holiday trees Families are invited to memorial ize and honor their loved ones with inscribed tree ornaments that will be displayed during Providence’s an nual Light Up a Life ceremonies. The ornaments will adorn memo rial trees in Providence hospitals and other com m unity locations throughout the holiday season. The special ceremonies will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 6:30 p.m. at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center; Thursday, Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center; Monday, Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at Providence Portland Medical Center’s Cancer Center Amphitheater; and Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. For those who have lost loved ones, the holidays can be a difficult time. Community members are in vited to dedicate an ornament in honor of a person important to them or in memory of a loved one. names of those honored will be read during the ceremony, and fami lies are encouraged to take the orna ments home with them afterward or leave them on the trees to share with the community.
