The free, two-hour creative writing work shops are held to inspire new people in the literary arts right where they live, work and convene. Although Write Around Portland traditionally holds workshops in partnership with social ser vice agencies forpeople living in poverty, dealing with illness or experiencing isolation, the Satur day WRITE! workshops are open to everyone. The workshops will be held at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 12505 NE Halsey Street; Oregon Jewish Museum, 1953 N.W. Kearney St.; Mercy Corps, 45 S.W. Ankeny St, with one lesson facilitated in American Sign Language; and Miracle Theatre, 537 S.E. Stark, where the event will be facilitated in Spanish.
