More than 1,000 volunteers will perform activities across the city at various sites after attending a rally from 9 to 10 a .m ., at P o r tla n d S ta te Uni versity ’ s Stott Center, 930 S .W .H a llS t. Following this event, the vol unteers will spread across the city for service activities from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers will be bused out to various service sites across the city witji theircomrounities-morethan 1 million volunteers across 50 states. This MLK Day will mark the second annual collaborative service day organized by local higher education institutions and Oregon Campus Compact. Participating schools include Concordia, George Fox Uni versity, Lewis & Clark Col lege, Linfield, Multnomah Uni versity, PSU, W arner Pacific and PCC.
