M aj/16, 2007 page C3 Rappin’ fora Reason Concert promotes youth advocacy in Africa The Dead Prez will be in Portland rappin' for a reason as part of the African Youth Initiative Network. The socially conscious duo will per form Saturday, May 26 at the Wonder Ball room, 128 N.E. Russell St. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the concert scheduled for 8 p.m. Proceeds and other fundraising efforts will pay for the shipment of computers to the Afri can countries of Rwanda and Burundi. The youth network is a partnering program of Global Family Network, which was founded earlier this year by Portlander's Mic Crenshaw and Morgan Delany. The organization has al ready received a computer grant from Fee Intercultural Fun - Wednes day, May 16, at 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m..the Center for Intercultural Or ganizing will host a ‘funny-raiser’ at the Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center, 5340 N.
