Eyo Nyong, was fatally wounded July 27 at 9:52 p.m., police said. An officer in the area heard shots fired in the area at the time. An autopsy has determined that Nyong died of a gunshot wound to the head. Based on information from witnesses, detectives believe that Nyong while shot at least once while he was talk ing with two sus pects outside of the bar. The sus pects fled the area Eyo Nyong on foot im m edi ately after the shooting. No arrests have been made.. Suspect Sought in Fatal Shooting The Portland Police, in coop eration withCrime Stoppers, need help solving a homicide. On Jan. 21 at about 7:15 p.m. police responded to a shooting at a house in the 5900block of North east Ninth Avenue. When they arrived, they found 25-year-old Tameka Renee Hartley on the porch o f her house suffering from a gunshot wound to her chest. She was transported to a hospi tal, but died later that night. Detectives believe Hartley was on the porch, possibly with other people, at the time of the shooting. Multiple shots were fired from a vehicle driving by the house. No body else reported being injured. Detectives are looking for infor mation about a vehicle seen leav ing the area. It was described as a small to medium sized dark colored sedan with tinted windows. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $ 1,000for informa tion. Harper, Sr. Photographer’ Wanted for Sexual Assault Two incidences yield same suspect On July 4, at approximately 1630 hours, a man approached a female pedestrian on SW Montgomery Street near Portland State Univer sity, and solicited her to be photo graphed. Detectives believe that the man from this incident is the same suspect involved in the sexual assault o f a female pedestrian in an incident that occurred in April 2004, at a parking garage in downtown Portland. The suspect approached the women in a similar manner in both incidents. Both women were in their late teens. The suspect is described as a white male, about 36 years old, approx. 5’8”, heavy build ("pudgy" and "pear-shaped”), dark-blonde, short hair, “crystal” blue eyes, pointy nose, baby-face with fair com plexion, clean-shaven, rosy cheeks and dark teeth. The suspect wore a T-shirt with thick stripes, Khaki cargo-style shorts, sneakers and gym socks. At the time of the July 4th inci dent, the suspect was last seen driving a white 4-door sedan, older Police rendering of rape suspect model with black molding and black door handles. In the earlier case, Oregon De partment of Justice staff found that he dealership advertised car sales ihrough “spot” ads in the classi fied sections o f many newspapers and sold them to unsuspecting buyers for thousands more than the advertised price. In March 2(M)4, the Thomason Honda dealership in Gladstone advertised an offer in large, bold printof“35 PERCENTOFF MSRP (M anufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) ON ALL HONDAS IN STOCK!!” In very small type above the offer, the dealership posted “ D ealer Installed O ptions Dis counted.” The offer was clearly mislead ing, as the dealership soon discov ered, as large numbers of angry customers arrived to buy a new Honda at a 35 percent reduction, only to find the discount was for dealer installed options. The deal ership closed its doors early that day and remained closed the next day.
