Linda White, D irector o f the Blaz ers Boys & Girls Club, has been pro moted to the position o f Cultural Di versity M anager for the organization. White, a former professional bas ketball player, coach and 14-year vet eran o f the Boys & Girls Clubs, will assume her new responsibilities in September. Her new duties will in clude overseeing the organization’s diversity programs, staff and Board recruitment and training, and com mu nity outreach efforts. W hite took over as Director o f the newly-built Blazers Boys & Girls Club in 1996,afterservingasD irectorofthe Columbia Boys & Girls Club in North Portland and Program Director at the Phoenix, AZ Boys & Girls Clubs.
