It takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and C louds and rain m ake idea salmon viewing conditions. Rair helps move the fish into spawning areas where the viewing is best clouds allow better viewing into th< water. This daynamic dancetheater piece weaves dance?, dialogue, and original music into a tapestry as dense as its themes: homelessness, substance abuse, bi-cultural family issues, and do mestic violence. The Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center (IFCC) presents Bobby Fouther’s House o f Art, the creative culmination o f Bobby Fouther’s tenure as 1999-2000 Artist-in-Residence. The choreographer/direc- tor has spent the past year working with a tight-knit ensemble of actors, dancer, and musicians in order to realize this no-holds-barred, multi-disciplinary drama. The production runs October 13-15 at the IFCC, located at 5340 N. Interstate Ave. Brenda Phillips’ role as “mother of the House” represents the strength of family which is at the heart of this unforgiving tale o f woe. The acclaimed Equity actress, recently featured in Artists Repertory Theater's production of A Raisin in the Sun, is joined by Jo,in Barry.
