In the decades since, a rich body o f work has resulted, as diverse as the continent itself, reflecting on e v e ry th in g from p re a n d p o st colonial history, to “tribal” folklore and politics to stories reflecting the rapid transition from traditional to m odem society. This year w e are once again pleased to host The A frican T raveling Film Festival, an annual show case o f re c e n t film s o f f e r in g d iv e rs e perspectives on A frican culture and broader appreciation o f the rich traditions offered to the rest o f the world.
