CBA members receive f t o f f . • 1 1 Into C iti femes CesTivfiL - lirun 'I The Portland Rainbow Coalition is hosting the Ninth Annual Inner City Blues Festival on Saturday, April 4th, 6:30 pm - 12:30 at the Crystal Ballroom, at the com er o f 14th and west Burnside. This years event, “Music isUnity , is held in remembrance ot Paulette Davis. Davis, a regular star and in spiration at Inner City Blues Festi vals past, recently died in a tragic accident. The festival stars the Norman Sylvester Band, with LaRhonda Johnson, R enanto C aranto, and Lenanne Sylvester-M iller, plus the Jim Mesi Band, and Sonny Hess and the Power Band. Also Don Latarski and the Rue de Blues featuring Marilyn Keller, will perform a jazz, gospel, blues set. Master of ceremonies will be Pual Knauls. Tickets are $ 10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the door. Tickets may be purchased from Music Millennium, G eneva’s Shear Perfection, House o f Sound, Reflections Bookstore, the Crystal Ballroom, or from members o f the Rainbow Coalition. Restaurant, snack bar and a full- service bar are on site. Due to OLCC regulations no minors will be allowed.
