Decem ber 7. 1997, at approxim ately 3 o ’clock in the afternoon, the victim heard a knock at the door of her apartm ent, lo cated near the MAX light rail line at SE 162nd A v e n u e an d E Burnside Street. When she did not see anyone through the peephole, she opened the door to look. Once the door was open, the suspect forced his way in and sexually a s saulted the victim. I lie suspect is described as a white male, in Ins late 2 0 's to early 3()’s, 6 0 " tall, with a slender build, dark complexion, and scraggly-looking straight dark brow nor black hair past Ins shoulders. The suspect appeared unshaven, and was wearing a black long-sleeve T-shirt, blue jeans, a brown leather bell with a square brass buckle, and dark-colored gloves.
