The bill was unveiled as the House debated an annual spending mea sure to fund Commerce and other departments in fiscal 1998. The spend ing bill does not make majorchanges, instead increasing aid for many de partment functions. Harrison was presented a community development award during the event and Evans, the keynote speaker.
