The Yankees sent $3 million in cash, injured outfielder Ruben Rivera and minor-league pitcher Ralael Medina to San Diego for the rights to Irabu, minor leaguers Homer Bush and Gordon Amerson and a player to be named later I he trade is subject to the Yankees signing Irabu, but reports in New York said he has been ottered a four- year, $12 million contract.
