A member o f the Na tional Honor Society and holding other high honors fo r achievement, Evans is enrolling in a course o f study at Oral Roberts U n i versity leading to a m edi cal degree which she plans to use in service to disad vantage people. La Toryla is not new to concern for others; she has worked as a volunteer at a local com m unity health center, an apartment youth activities center, a tu toring program, the A fro-A m erican Society and her local church.
