Everyday, we get ready to do one
thing or another. In the process o f get
ting ready, there are certain steps we
have accustomed ourselves to fo llo w ,
like: setting the alarm clock or picking
out a certain article o f clothing to wear.
As my mother got us ready to re
ceive our guest and we get ready each
and every day, we should likewise get
ready for the coming o f Jesus Christ.
We should watch like good servants
expecting their master’ s return from a
long journey.

such an hour as ye think not the Son o f
man comelh.” [M alt. 24:44] KJV

You can clean-up on the outside as
much as you want; but, unless you
allow Christ to thoroughly clean your
heart, you w ill not be ready when He
returns.
