Con't from Page 1 Final Planning Completed Final planning documents on a $28 million office com plex were signed recently in Portland between Gulf Oil Company of Nigeria and an international joint venture partnership, Yost Grube Hall, Portland, and FMA Archi tects, Lagos, Nigeria. FMA is the largest locally owned architectural firm in Nigeria. The office complex, to be followed by a $25 million hou sing development, will be used as company headquarters for all of Gulf's operations in Nigeria. The project is situated on 50 acres of land on Nigeria's Lekki Peninsula, and will include a four-story office build ing with parking, annex and support facilities. YGH is no stranger to Africa, having done extensive architectural and planning work in Khartoum, Sudan and the surrounding region. The firm has been involved in three agricultural research stations and two urban office towers in the north African country of 18 million people.
