The six Northeast HCD neighborhoods (Boise, Eliot, Hum boldt, King, Sabin and Vernon) were allotted $15,000 of the monies to carry our their activities. In August of 1986, the N.E. HCD Neighborhood Associations formed a comm ittee to organize and coor dinate a spring clean up as their CPA project. The com mittee contracted w ith Mr. Bob Donaldson to be the N.E. HCD Livability Coordinator. Mr. Donaldson coordinated the efforts of the Clean- Up Committees from the individual neighborhoods and structured and implemented the project plan. The Northeast Neighborhoods feel they were able to get more mileage out of the $15,000 through this joint venture as compared to attem pting six separate pro f if f O f sat NEW CROP CALIFORNIA jects.
