Doo Wops consist of a group of gentlemen! who came together sheerly by accident All of the members are migrates from other cities across the U S ., places like Detroit, Chicago, San Diego, etc. once the members got to know each other and realized they all had a vocal talent, they began sharing their talents with each other, and that’s how the R.C. Doo Wops began formation. The group is only 3 months old and has already performed in front of a major audience at tho Blacks in Government Conference, which was held at the Marriott Hotel in Portland The group truly foresees a marvelous future It is their goal to revive the acappella sound, for it is truly the root of all harmony The R.C. Doo W ops w ill appear on C hannel 8 Sunday. Woody Broadnax had been doing a lot of thinking lately Something was gnawing at his brain night and day, though he didn't know exactly what He needed time to himself, and that was a real task inside the gray walls of the severely overcrowded institution He thought about the past, the scho larship to the prestigious Juliard, the hurt he saw in his mother s eyes when she thought about her baby going away from her, to New York even' What would have happening if he went anyway? Ho thought atrout the streets full of the hurl, pain and misconceptions that had him in his present time and space He thought about his family, mostly his children Oh' His chil dren He hoped and prayed that they would never come to know this place But what could he do to make a difference? Talk was cheap He knew this from experience. What could he do One day it came to him. A little vague at first, but day after day the pic ture became clearer and clearer I’ll give all of you one change to guess what this vision was . That's Right' Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Introducing The World of Reverend BloodH'l The World of Reverend Blood is a conglomeration of real life people and situations in cartoon form, preventative education, as Woody calls it Upon his release from prison, Woody went straight to the (ward of edu cation with his comic strip in order for it to be added to the curriculum The school district found some parts too graphic and decided not to add Reverend Blood to their anti drug campaign When I saw Reverend Blood, I knew it had to be presented to the public A S A P My personal opinion is that in today's society the children are painfully aware of what's going on, so why sugarcoat reality.
