REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS T R A N S IT M A R K E T IN G A N D A D V E R T IS IN G SERVICES DATE OF ISSUE A u g u it 6. 1988 D ATE OF CLOSURE: A ug u st 25.1986 Salem Area Transit (SAT) is soliciting qualifications from advertising/marketing firms to assist SAT staff in the conduct of transit marketing, promotion, and public information programs The selected firm will be responsible for assistance in development of an annual marketing plan for SAT, conceptualization and production of targeted marketing programs to attract ridership and promote transit's image, and the design and production of public information pieces such as bus schedules, flyers, system maps, and pamphlets The firm should have experience in pro ducing and placing materials for newspapers and radio, preparation of press releases, and direct mail production and distribution. The selected agency will, on occasion, represent SAT before local bust nesses, schools, and other organizations. Information sought in the RFQ includes: marketing and advertising experience: approaches to the effec tive marketing of public services; background and capability of your firm; and. cost schedule of various fees. Forms are included in the RFQ package for responses Respondents may attach supplemental materials, if desired, but the response form and re quired attachments are sufficient material to receive full consideration.
