1 cup barbecue sauce
A cup chopped green pepper
A cup chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 whole cloves
I tablespoon prepared mustard
Few drops hot pepper sauce

Wash beans; soak in 6 cups water
overnight. Drain; rinse beans. In 8-
quart Dutch oven, combine beans, 4
cups water and remaining ingredients.
C o v e r; sim m er 4 hours or u n til
meat and beans are tender, stirring
occasionally.
Makes 6 servings.
