FOOD SECTION May 27, 1982 Volume X II, Number 33 Section II Ice cream pie is tops with fresh peaches PEACHES N ‘ IC E C R E A M P IE Crust 1 Vt cup 100% natural cereal with apples and cinnamon or original, crushed 14 cup firmly packed brown sugar 14 cup butter or margarine Filling ■4 gallon icecream, softened Ice cream topping Fresh peach slices For crust: Heat oven to 35O°F. Lightly grease a 9-inch pie plate. In medium bowl, combine all ingredi ents; m ix w ell. Press firm ly and evenly onto bottom and sides o f pre pared pie plate. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or un til golden brow n; cool. For filling: Spoon ice cream into prepared crust; freeze at least I hour or until firm . Drizzle with ice cream topping; arrange fruit over pie. G ar nish w ith whipped topping, i f de sired. Makes 6 to 8 servings. Blueberry Crunch Bere MEMORIAL DAY STOCK-UP!
