And Hercules? it's a long story... “A Celestial Anthology." the new show in the Kendall Planetarium at O M S I at t empts to trace the plots and sub-plots in this heavenly soap opera. The show runs M ay 4th through June 25th. "A Celestial Anthology" examines the life stories of at least 16 different celestial characters, or constellations, studying th eir poooibtr origins and significance in Roman and Greek mythology. According to G arry S tab u k D irecto r of OMSTs Kendall Planetarium , "the ancients spent much more time detailing the night sky than w e do to d a y..' There is evidence that legends and lore of the night sky can even be traced back to civilisation s beginnings in ancient China. "A Celestial Anthology" runs in OMSTs Kendal Planetarium Mav4 through June 26. Showtimes Monday through F rid ay. 1:30 and 3 JO pm with a special 7: 30 showing on F riday*. Last year, over 900 children received ramping scholarship* to residential, day camp and special camp«. Campers range from 7 to 18 years of age. Referrals for scholarships can be made by representatives connected with youth serving agencies, including schools, com . munity centers and youth organizations1 Scholarships are given out according to the family's need.
