Other activities slated at the Northeast Center are “ Sewing C enter", a workshop where individuals receive help with mending, altering, and even making new garments, and "Dekum D o e rs", a neighbor hood group which participates in various projects, discus sions and field trip s. An outstanding F irs t Aid course is being offered new this term . What to do in situa- t io n s in v o lv in g unusual breathing, bleeding, and poi soning w ill be discussed, as well as how to take care of emergency needs of accidents o r illnesses until the doctor a rriv e s . Class members w ill also practice a rtific ia l res piration and leam what to do in case of heart attack. There is no charge fo r the course, however, personal expenses w ill be necessary.
