NAACP Change Commanders PORTI,AND/OBSERVER Jan. 21, 1971 YMCA drug program The YMCA Drug Alert Pro gram Is a program initiated by the North Portland YMCA and Is a two-told attempt at drug In formation. The first of the pro gram Is to Inform parents of grade school and J r. high school children about drugs and to be aware of the symptoms of drug users. This we hope to accom plish through small group meet ings and the ability to develop a sense of faith hi the Y's sin cerity in disseminating infor mation on drugs.
