NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals will be received by the board of directors of Middle Fork irrigation district at their officd in room of the Hall building, in the city of Hood River, Hood River county, Oregon, until 10 o'clock la the forenoon of the 16th day of De cember, 1922, for the purchase of the bonds authorized and issued by said irrigation district in the amount of $75,000, each bond in the denomina tion of $1000, dated January 1, 1923, and maturing serially in annual amounts so as to be approximately equal, principal and interest, com mencing January 1, 1929, and contin uing each successive year thereafter until January 1, 1953, when the last of said bonds then outstanding hall mature, bearing interest from their date at the rate of 6 per annum, payable semi-annually on the first day of July and January each year, both principal and interest to be paid In gold coin of the United States of America of the present standard of weight and fineness, or in its equiva lent, at the office of the treasurer of said district or at the Fiscal Agency of Oregon in the City of New York.
