Other oils In the foreign and domestic croups registered gross advances of 2 to almost 5 points and the independent teels were equally strong, with a sudden burst of activity at higher levels for United States Steel in the final hours. Northern Pacific advanced 2 points and several coalers and trunk lines, especially Reading & New Haven, strengthened substantially. Sales totaled 1,050,000 shares. Developments which accelerated the day's upward trend included a vigor ous rebound in leading foreign exchanges, advices that the middle western steel and iron mills were running behind in deliveries and declaration of Initial dividends on Marland Oil. The rally in international currencies Harried sterling bills to fully 5c above yesterday's lowest quotations, while re coveries of 15 to 22 points in French, Italian and Belgian remittances more than effaced their losses of yesterday and last Saturday. These bonds are a direct general tax obligation. In other words, the-land owner cannot pay any tax separately. He cannot pay his school tax without paying the tax for bond principal and bond interest. He cannot pay his county tax separately from the taxes for these bonds. Whether the Logan District is prosperous or not is evidenced by the fact that there is not a dollar of taxes delinquent in the entire district back of 1920. We have heard a lot about fanners of America being broke. Does this look as though the Logan farmers are broke? Do you know of another 21.5 square miles of agricultural community that will compare with it? We don't.
