EXPORT DEMAND BEGINS TO ENLARGE Progress of Domestic Business Revival Is Vigorous. NEW YORK, Juno 27. Dun's Review to morrow will say: With the signing of the peace treaty, which Is now Imminent after months of waiting, gateways of commerce that have long been closed will be reopened and broad- 1 er international trade relations permitted. I Behind the domestic business revival that I Is vigorously In progress there Is not only I the practical assurance of another year of agricultural prosperity end the present ex- 1 ceptional retail distribution In this country, but also Europe s dependence upon Amerl can markets for products needed during the reconstruction era, and it is significant that the export carl is already expanding in many quarters. The result of the enlarging home and foreign demands is clearly seen in the Increasing scarcity of supplies of various articles, notwithstanding the rising tide of production, and reports of goods being vir tually withdrawn from sale are becoming more common as manuractunng capacity l: engaged farther ahead and still higher prices an near inevitable. Bank clearings were $6,903, 659, 62T, an In crease of 18.1 per cent. ,r, , - Eastern Dairy Prod nee. NEW TORK. June 27. NEW TORK, June 2T. That speculative interests are now almost wholly dependent upon the movements ot money was striking ly illustrated today, the stock market rally ing very generally and trading expanding perceptibly as the rates for call funds re laxed. The opening for loans was. S to tier cent, those quotations being the lowest initial rate lor the week and thi .am .ir- nificant, as all loans made today hold -over uuiu i lie coming week. These rates compare with yesterday's high of 9 per cent and the previous day's 15 per cent, and bespeak a favorable weekly bank statement, indicating also that next week mia-year settlements have been largely an tlcipated. There was only one noteworthy exceotion to the higher prices achieved, rails lagging tnrougnout tne session with renewed weak ness in Baltimore A Ohio, which erneri. enced further liquidation on the passing of me common aiviaena. -.Chandler Motors was ae-aln tht lar feature, adding an extreme gain of 13 points to yesteraay s advance or 22.
