There was confidence in some quar ters that cars or centralized wou.d bring He over the quotation, but no sa.es were ceported at this figure up to the aomsnu New York. Only a fair amount of wholesale trading took place today, due lu part to a limited amount of s rocks and in active local demand. With a sensitive feel ing prevailing the market was steady j to firm with regular trade only taking sup plies for their current needs. Prices re mained unchanged on all scoras with a strong demand, for 89-90 score butter, ot which there Is a small supply available. Re ceipts of 0633 tubs were moderate, storage holdings were practically unchangea ana suppiies on dealers floors this morning showed a reduction of about 3000 tubs. l2 score 66 c. San Francisco.
