With, the large supply on hand, tt will be some time before the Job Is completed. Regulations regarding wool grading have been Issued by Chief Wool Administrator Charles J. All other clips must be graded, re gardless of how they have been handled In previous seasons, whether they are mostly three-eighths, with some half-blood and some quarter-blood, or mostly quarter-blood with some three-eighths. Blending of sim ilar wools from the same section Is author- , Ized and desired and proper records of weights of grades of Individual clips must be kept. Where possible, blends of about 300,000 pounds should be made. Special care should be taken to keep the grades stand ard, especially on the line between half blood and three-eighths-blood, as the Gov ernment will not take high three-eighths-blood In half-blood piles. The following grades are to be made: Fine and fine me dium staple, half-blood staple, three-eighths-blood staple, quarter-blood staple, low quarter-blood and common and braid; fine and fine medium clothing, half-blood clothing, three-eighths-blood clothing and quarter blood clothing. "Where wools are sold In the original bags, straight bags of bucks, black, tags, dead, corral sweepin gs. etc., must be kept out. Bags of straight wool must be cut from end to end, and rings of tags, dead or other unmerchantable wool removed, as is customary before shipping? to manufac turers. Fine and grade bucks will be valued according to shrinkage and will be taken by the Government In the same manner as other merchantable wooL Prices on blacks and off wools will be fixed prices in the grease for each section of the country. Deal ers In such wools will be permitted to buy and process them, under license from the War Industries Board, returning same to Government at cost and 3 per cent com mission. In offering wool to the Govern ment, state quality and whether original oc graded. "The price to be allowed to the grower for bags, whether wool is sold original or graded, will be : For Texas and other so called three-quarter length bags, 35 cents; for Territories, 74 feet, 4-pound bags, 00 cent. The price to the Government will be: For original Texas and other three-quarter length bags, 85 cents; for original Territo ries, 50 cents; all other bags new, $1.25; second-hand. 75 cents.
