Price, of Corvallis. of E. R. Price, a ship carpenter em ployed at the Grant Smith-Porter Ship building Company's yard, was killed yesterday afternoon when he waa struck on the head by a falling timber. He was engaged with other carpenters in erecting an employes' building. As the timber was being raised to be stood on end. It slipped from the rigging and fell on Mr. Price. His skull was crusshed. He lived but a few minutes afterwards. The body was removed to the county morgue. Mr. Price was 49 years old.
