FUEL REPORT DUE TODAY Municipal Investigator Into Prices Will Announce Findings. A detailed report on Portland's fuel situation is due today from Ivan Humason, special investigator ap pointed by the City Council. He told Mayor Baker yesterday that he expects to have the report ready to file with the Council today. Mr. Humason has gone into the question of available supply as well as the propriety of present fuel prices. It is said the city is virtually 100.000 cords of cordwood short. A great part of this is made up by the increased amount of slabwood, however. Last year there were shipped into Los Angeles 1.460,000 pounds of butter at 24 cents a pound in carlpai lots. The wagon was standing at the cor ner and Mrs. Peere made a quirk turn to avoid striking a woman and small boy, who were crossing the street.
