Mexican credit are pre--dieted in official communications to day to the State Department from some of the European Embassies, should Carranza carry out his intention forci bly to compel the banks to redeem their notes in gold Immediately when pre sented by the government. Strong representations have beea made to the State Department by the Embassies.
