He presented also a fee claim of Fulton & Bowerman for $250 for like services when Frasier was sim ilarly charged. , Fraxler conducted his own case throughout the trial, which lasted two days. His effort to inject outside mat ters into the case was not resisted by John McCourt, who appeared as at torney for Fulton & Bowerman. Mr. McCourt said be would not object be cause of the fact that Frasier, al though formerly an attorney himself, bad no attorney to fight his case. Jarors Croaa-Examlne. Jurors themselves became cross-examiners when Fraaier went to tho wit ness stand yesterday. Mr. McCourt's cross-examination was comparatively short, for the Jurors, plainly showing their disapproval of Frasier's atfltude. took the case Into their own hands. M. H. O'Connor and W. F. McKenney in particular plied Frasier with ques tions. "Frequently, when M-. O'Connor was questioning him, Frasier turned to Judge Davis in appeal. "How about it. Judge? Do I have to answer that?" he asked. "Tba Jury is exclusive Judge of the facts." replied th Judge. "They are entitled to any questions they wish to ask." Frasier said he was in ill-health and was able to attend court only "under stimulants." His answers to questions yesterday were in such a low tone that tha Jurors frequently could not hear him. Frasier maintained that he had lit tle property in his own right, but ad mitted that a "holding company." of which he is president and his wife and children principal stockholders, had property worth at least $75.000.
