7 Pacific Coast Health Officials dorse TFTE MORTJTXG OREGONIAtf, TUESDAY, JULY 21, 1914. Package DR. L. M. POW ERS. Health Com missioner of Los Angeles, says of the WAXTITE pack age: "Sealed pack ages and wax paper wrappings are eco nomical and con venient, and at the same time protect against dust and dirt and are there by a protection from disease." CALIFORNIA STATE BOARD OF HEALTH BUREAU OF ADMINISTRATION SACRAMENTO Sty 5itg of BtuttVt SaflfmrglDit cirnrMcvr of he a v-rm I have this day examined the pack ages sealed with ffaxtite and can thoroughly recommend the principle. We cannot give these food products too much protection and anything which will prevent dust and germs, I think ought to be encouraged. cxccvnvc orwaio There is no doubt in the world that if food could be wrapped tightly in sealed packages until it comes to the table for consumption, disease would be very greatly decreased. This precaution also has a tendency to keep moisture away from foods and is to be commended from every point of view. (Signed) MARTIN REGENSBURGER Free California State Board of Health.
