SUMNER LINES BOUGHT Request Is Issued That Harriman Interests Take Control. EUGENE. Or., May 14. (Special.) A special lo the Register from Marsh field quotes a letter from H. A. Sumner, vice-president of the Pacific Great Western and the Pacific Coast Line railways, to the effect that after a month of conference with Southern Pa. cific officials, the Sumner interests have been transferred to the Harriman line. "An agreement has been made, says Mr. Sumner. "whereby McArthur. The Southern Pacific right of way men have been working south along the coast, and today sent in half a dozen deeds, covering IS acres for right of way. Weiser Plans Old-Time Fourth. WEISER.
