THE MORNING OREGOXIAN, FRIDAY, MAY 1, 19QS. 15 IDAHO EXCURSION STARTS TONIGHT Party of Representative Port land Business Men Leave for. Lewiston. WILL RETURN NEXT SUNDAY Special Train Will Carry 125 Ore gonlans to Blossom Festlral. Cut-off Reduces Time Between the Two Cities to 1 0 Hours. The special train bearing the party ot representative Portland business men to attend the Blossom Festival at Lewiston, Idaho, will leave the Union depot tonight at 9:30 o'clock tor that city. The train will go by way of the Riparla cut-off, shortening the time between Lewiston and Portland to ten houre. The party will arrive at Lewiston to morrow morning at 9 o'clock. Through out the day the visitors will be en tertained by the citizens and com mercial bodies of Lowiston and Clark eton. The train will leave for Port land Sunday morning at 12:30 o'clock, arriving here at 11:45 o'clock Sunday forenoon. The excursion will be the largest gathering of business men ever held In Lewiston, and it is expected will mark the establishment of closer com mercial relations between that city and Portland.
