CECILIA." The beaut)- of these artistic productions can be best appreciated by a look at the framed lithograph, "Fash ion's Favorites," displayed in the window of E. H. Moor house & Co., 305 Alder Street. This was the last picture offered to advertisers by this paper. In harmony of col oring and softness of tone, these works of art, when properly framed, vie in beauty with the best water color 'ings. jSPr Copies mailed to out-of-town advertisers will require a 2c postage stamp. The price of single copies of "St. Cecilia' to cash purchasers will be 25c. CECILIA (Saint), the patroness of music, is said to have suffered martyrdom in 230 A. D. Her heathen parents, as we are told, belonged to a noble Roman family, and betrothed their daughter, who had been converted to Christianity, to a heathen youth named Valerian. This youth and his brother, Tiberius, became Christian converts, and suf fered martyrdom. Cecilia. ,wien commanded to sacrifice to idols, firm ly refused, and was condemned to death.
