Ihompson, of Richmond, Ind., testified that Jester stopped at His home in 1ST1 about a week. WEATHER CONDITION'S. But very little change has occurred In pros euro distribution tbroushout the Northwest. The barometer is highest along the coast and lowest over Idaho. Cloudiness has increased in Western Oregon, and It is much cooler. East of the mountains the warm weather contin ues, and the following maximum temperatures occurred today: Walla Walla, 100 deg.; Spo kane and Bohe, 83; Baker City. DO, and Poca tello, S8 der. A trace of rain fell at Port land, Rcweburtf and at Salt Lake, and a thun der storm occurred at Focatello, while else where no rain has fallen, but the indications are favorable for more thunder showers east of the mountains, and with their advent much cooler weather will be experienced. Forecasts made at Portland for the 2S hours ending at midnight Tuesday, July 24: Western Oregon and Western Washington Partly cloudy and continued cool: possibly rain near coast; winds mostly southwest.
