Aud be It further enacted, That the said lauds hereby granted when patented lo said slate, shall be subject lo the riixposul of said state for the purpos es aforesaid, and for no other; and the said railroad shall be aud remain a public highway for the use of ihe government of the United Stales, free from ull toll or otlur charge, for the Ininspm taliu of uuy properly or troops of the United States. hecti.
