A6 Hood River News, Saturday, June 6, 2015 O bituaries Paid notices Charles Henderson Charles Victor Hender- son was born in Fargo, N.D., on Jan. 8, 1921, to Gunda (Eiler tson) and Charles Henderson. He mar ried Della Mae Fode in Elko, Nev., on Feb. 5, 1960. Charles was an or- chardist and vintner, and ow n e r a n d Charles operator of Henderson Mont Elise Vi n e y a r d s . He was a founding member of the Washington State Winery Association, and also a member of the BPOE #1968 Lodge and Our Re- deemer Lutheran Church in Hood River. He enjoyed restoring machinery, and reading about history and archaeology. Charles passed away at his home in White Salmon, Wash., on May 29, 2015, at the age of 94. He is survived by his wife, Della; son Charles Henderson, of Happy Val- ley, Ore.; daughter Elise C a rl s o n , o f M u k i l t e o, Wash.; and grandchildren Candace, Constance, Jacob and Ian. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert, sis- ters Esther and Laura, and his parents. The family requests memorials be made to Prov- idence Hospice of the Gorge or FISH Food Bank, Hood River. Cheryl Perry Cheryl Jane Bible Perry was born Aug. 18, 1964, to Bill and Edith Bible in White Salmon, Wash. As a child, Cheryl was very ac- tive in 4-H and spent most of her time riding and compet- ing on horses, along with most of her family. As she grew, she found herself in several different fields of work, always pour- ing her heart and soul into everything she did. She spent many years as a long- haul truck driver, and even did some underwater weld- ing. In 1985, Cheryl was mar- ried to Mark Perry, and they we re bl e s s e d w i t h fo u r beautiful children. She con- tinued to work long and hard throughout the up- bringing of her kids, always determined to do whatever needed done, and to give it her all. In her more recent years, she started to slow down on the hard working, and spent most of her time enjoying the companionship of her children and grandbabies. Cheryl moved down to McMinnville, Ore., to live with her oldest daughter, Adrienne. She loved taking bike rides and walks to the park with her grandchil- dren, as well as singing and dancing with them around the house. On May 27, 2015, Cheryl was called home to the Lord. C h e r y l was preced- ed in death by her father, Bill Bible; b r o t h e r Donny Bible; and first son, Cheryl Perry M a t t h e w Bible. She is survived by her m o t h e r a n d s t e p f a t h e r, Ralph and Edith Hatfield; her sister, Anita Branton; her children, Adrienne, Mark and Taylor Perry; grandbabies Paytton Perry, Taylor Wicks, Carter Head- l y, J ayc e S m i t h , Ky r a Homan, Baylee Wicks and Andrew Perry; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Cheryl Perry will be forever loved and re- membered by all.
